SOLCORP
and Document Sciences Announce Delivery
of Integrated Solution
SOLCORP,
Toronto
,
ON
, a provider of software solutions to the life insurance and financial
industries and a subsidiary of EDS, together with strategic marketing partner
Document Sciences, announced the delivery of a seamless integration between the
SOLCORP/INGENIUM policy administration system and xPression, Document
Sciences’ universal content processing software. The integration is the result
of a Cooperative Marketing and Technical Agreement signed last year, and allows
SOLCORP clients to use xPression with INGENIUM, enabling real-time, high-volume
delivery of critical insurance documentation.
xPression
integrates with the generic XML print interface in INGENIUM 6.5, bringing back
office information through the mid and front offices, where real-time
communication is critical. Using INGENIUM, insurers can create or customize
document types that are automatically sent via an XML feed to xPression, which
reads the XML feed, applies formatting rules, and then distributes the final
documents—all without modifying source code. This solution provides insurers
with an effective means to increase customer service levels, improve regulatory
compliance of customer-facing documents, reduce manual document processing costs
and accelerate time-to-market.
