The CPFS Program
The continuing evolution toward an international competitive environment has had significant ramifications for insurance and financial services organizations throughout Indonesia. Banks, insurance and mutual fund companies are combining and packaging products to attract consumers at large. To develop and sustain effective international operations, LOMA created the Certified Professional in Financial Services (CPFS) education program to increase professionalism in the various fields of financial services: banking, insurance, securities, financial planning and more.

What You’ll Learn—Fundamentals and Advanced
The CPFS courses are internationally-accredited, fulfill Indonesian government required education standards, and count as credit towards both the CPFS and LOMA’s FFSI designations.

- LOMA 305 - Personal Financial Planning
- LOMA 326 - Financial Services Marketing
- LOMA 356 - Investment Principles and Institutional Investing

CPFS 100  - Financial Planning Negotiation Skills Program

Optional Course:

- LOMA 286 - Principles of Financial Services and Products

LOMA 305— Personal Financial Planning
Provides an understanding of the concept, decision-making tools, and applications involved in financial planning.

LOMA 326—Financial Services Marketing
Covers basic marketing principles and the function of marketing in a financial services environment.

LOMA 356— Investment Principles and Institutional Investing
Provides an understanding of the investment environment and the general principles of investing in both individual securities and portfolios of securities and provides an orientation to investing in an institutional setting, including roles, administrative systems and processes, goal setting, performance review, and risk management.

CPFS 100 Financial Planning Negotiation Skills Program
Developed by TANDIKA Institute for Financial Services, this workshop strengthens the required skills for financial services practitioners and teaches participants to gain customer’s trust, to uncover financial needs of the prospective customers, to identify the optimal financial services solution, to upsell and more.

LOMA 286—(Optional) Principles of Financial Services and Products
Introduces the major categories of financial services--cash management, credit, asset protection, asset accumulation and management, and asset distribution--form the framework for LOMA 286, which surveys banking, insurance and investment products.

LOMA and TANDIKA Institute Partnership
LOMA and TANDIKA Learning Institute for Financial Services, in association with Indonesia Institute for Management Development (IPMI) offer CPFS courses at IPMI’s prestigious Campus in Rawajati-Kalibata, Jakarta 12750.

CPFS Certificate and FFSI Designation
Students who successfully complete the five CPFS courses will be awarded a certificate and may use the designation CPFS within Indonesia as required by the Department of Finance and designated associations. CPFS courses also earn credit toward LOMA’s FFSI (Fellow Financial, Services Institute) designation. For more information on the FFSI program requirements click here.

Examinations are offered on paper or via I*STAR. Paper exams are offered twice a year in May and November. I*STAR exams may be taken at any time during the year.
