are currently available at PBD.
FLMI 361
The new textbooks for the FLMI 361 course
will be available at PBD in October 2002.
Examination
updates:
All French FLMI and ACS examinations are offered via I*STAR.
Courses and examinations
offered in French
All of the courses making up the FLMI program and the ACS program are offered
in French. Students can
be enrolled for these exams via LOMANET.
When enrolling via LOMANET, it is important to select French as the "preferred language" for the
exam so that the
system will know to present the examination in French when the student
enters his or her login ID and password.

Education Credits for Agents in Québec

Continuing
Education Credits for Financial Planners in Québec

Canadian I*STAR
centers
There are I*STAR exam centers in Montreal, Quebec City, and Edmonton, for
independent students, and for students who do not have access to I*STAR in their
own company. An I*STAR center is selected during the enrollment process on the
LOMANET system. Ed Rep or students should contact the I*STAR center directly to
set up an appointment for the exam, and students should have their student ID
and password with them when they go the I*STAR center to sit for the exam. Click
here for a list of Canadian I*STAR Centers.
French diplomas
If any courses are completed in French, any certificate or diploma earned
will be issued in French, unless LOMA receives a specific request to issue it in
English.
FLMI Society of Montreal: classroom instruction and correspondence courses
LOMA offers study guides for all of its courses, but many students benefit
from the structure and discipline offered by taking a class. The FLMI Society
of Montreal offers classroom instruction and correspondence courses for all of
the French-language FLMI and ACS courses, as well as for a few courses in
English. To request more information on these courses, please visit the Society’s
web site: www.flmi-montreal.ca/. Please note that enrollment for these courses
is a separate process from exam enrollment with LOMA, and that signing up for
one of their classes does not mean that the student is automatically enrolled
for the LOMA exam.
