About the Program
A ground-breaking education program for financial service professionals, the FFSI is a 10-credit
designation program that provides broad contextual information through seven core courses and customized, job-specific
learning through the FFSI’s unique Professional Achievement Credits (PACs). To earn the FFSI designation, students must
successfully complete seven self-study courses, which are divided into two levels, and earn a total of three PACs. PACSs are
credits granted by LOMA for demonstrated professional achievement in financial services product areas such as annuities,
mutual funds/brokerages, retirement plans, securities, and banking. Students earn PACs by completing courses or by earning
designations, licenses or certificates that LOMA has approved for use in the FFSI Program. Students must have credit for
three PACs to earn the FFSI.
