Meeting Overview
Whether you’re
considering selling critical illness products or are beginning to explore the
details of the industry, this is the one conference you must attend!
Leading the industry, the 2008 Critical Illness Conference, sponsored by
LIMRA, LOMA, Society of Actuaries and the National Association for Critical
Illness Insurance, will provide the cutting edge information you need to understand
the challenges and opportunities this market presents.
Increase your ability to analyze problems and strategies related to
critical illness insurance, learn creative solutions to those problems, and
understand how to communicate those solutions to your company and
your customers.
The U.S. market is
beginning to appreciate that the power of Critical Illness Insurance
(CII) extends beyond countries with single-payer systems.
By and large, current U.S. employer-based health care coverage does not alleviate the financial burden of
a critical illness. In fact, the
financial strain of expenses not covered by medical insurance can be crushing.
CII bridges the gap in coverage and can even enable ordinary citizens who
need it to have access to the finest medical attention in the world.
For CII to gain
widespread acceptance in the United States, both consumers and producers must recognize its value.
The Critical Illness Insurance Conference provides an essential
understanding of all the central issues:
- Plan
design
- Pricing
and underwriting considerations
- Regulatory
requirements
- Claims
experience
- Global
trends
- Selling
secrets/marketing insights
- Marketing
issues
- Risk
management methods
General sessions
will make a powerful case for CII. Concurrent
sessions will allow marketing, actuarial, underwriting, management and
operations professionals to explore aspects of the product that are most
relevant to their interests.
Who
Should Attend?
Anyone who currently has or is investigating a critical illness insurance
product will gain invaluable knowledge from this event, especially product
development specialists, marketing officers, sales professionals, senior
operations executives, actuaries, underwriters and industry consultants.
