Associate Insurance Agency Administration™
(AIAA)

LOMA's Associate, Insurance Agency Administration (AIAA) Program helps you maximize sales while minimizing office headaches. You'll gain the knowledge and tools you need to service your clients effectively and keep your office running smoothly, efficiently, and economically.

Who should enroll?

Employees in agency offices–branch offices, field offices, and brokerages–or home office employees who interact with agency offices.

What will the AIAA Program do for you?

It will help you

  • Organize your agency office
  • Provide excellent customer service for internal and external companies
  • Use technology to enhance communications between agency offices and the home office
  • Identify compliance and ethical issues that affect agencies
  • Make efficient use of your office's financial and human resources
  • Develop leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Supervise employees and encourage teamwork

The six courses required for the AIAA designation are as follows:

  • LOMA 280—Principles of Insurance: Life, Health, and Annuities
    OR
LOMA 286—Principles of Financial Services and Products
  • LOMA 290—Insurance Company Operations
  • LOMA 320—Marketing Life and Health Insurance
    OR
    LOMA 301—Insurance Administration
    OR
    LOMA 326—Financial Services Marketing
  • ACS 100—Foundations of Customer Service
  • AIAA 200—Agency Administration
  • AIRC 410—Regulatory Compliance: Companies, Producers, and Operations
    OR

AIRC 420—Regulatory Compliance: Insurance and Annuity Products
    OR

LOMA 316—Legal Aspects of Life and Health Insurance (Canada)

LOMA recommends that Canadian students not needing a background in the U.S. compliance/regulatory environment take LOMA 316. We suggest that students outside of North America take either AIRC 410 or AIRC 420 so that they will benefit from learning how U.S. compliance laws are applied.
